AJM are well known around these parts as being the prestige tradesmen who will always give you a 'gold plated' service. After some of the horror stories about other contractors and companies in the area, I can say that AJM are the ONLY local tradesmen I would feel comfortable contracting to take on a large job on my house.

Have had a lot of work completed on our roof over the last six months by AJM, on our somewhat creaky old Victorian terrace. Won't hesitate to recommend - Alan will take you through every stage of the process, explain what's needed, draw diagrams if he needs to, and once into the process will communicate with you if anything comes up. Before anything is undertaken AJM's office will provide you a schedule of works, so there shouldn't be any surprises - unless anything is uncovered, then work will stop before any decisions are taken. He's just an all round star, really - even patched up a couple of things he noticed while doing the work. While the work is going on, he'll take photos of any findings and the work in general to show you what's happening. And if you're a layman, like myself, he'll happily explain in detail what's being done so you can get a better understanding of the work itself. There's a reason he's known by other tradespeople and by locals in the area. We'll definitely be using AJM in future. Many thanks.

Brilliant service. Really efficient and would highly recommend. Our roof no longer leaks and pics were taken throughout the process so we could see what was causing the leak and how they fixed it. I would confidently use them again. very happy customer

Wouldn't use as a handyman or for repairs. Charges £90 an hour (so £90 just to collect materials); even the smallest repair jobs are extortionate. Doesn't support the customer but sticks to a narrow job manifest. Disappointed customer.
