Extremely expensive quote for the work, and I regret proceeding despite the cost due to the misleading high ratings I saw online. While I needed multi-trades for a temporary kitchen, the quote didn’t include basic materials like plugs or cables, which I had to buy and even fetch during the job. The finish was poor, with misaligned worktops, unsafe cabling, and unresolved floor issues. I had to insist on fixes, but overall, the result feels crude for the £1700 paid. Waste was also left behind for me to clear. Sadly, the cost far outweighed the quality provided. Update - following the response from BHT to my original review: For clarity, the kitchen units mentioned included a set of drawers and an open shelving unit that were in good working order, along with a brand new B&Q base unit. The cooker is a high-spec professional Rangemaster induction range cooker, which is approximately 5 years old. After the work, the drawers were left misaligned and not functioning properly, and the overall finish of the installation was poor. Although the team returned to make adjustments, the result was still not to a good standard. The electrical work also caused issues, leaving the cooker not functioning correctly after it was rewired, and I had to investigate and resolve this myself. In addition, debris was left under the newly fitted vinyl, creating raised areas in the floor with a risk of puncturing the surface. I identified a sharp metal nail beneath the lino which required removal. Even after this was addressed, further debris remained under the flooring, and there is still a hard area visible in a central, high-use part of the kitchen which cannot now be corrected without lifting the floor. The work appeared rushed, particularly the flooring, with insufficient care taken to prepare the surface properly before installation. I paid £1,700 for this work, which was labour only. Based on time on site, this equates to approximately £85 per hour. At that price point, I expected a significantly higher level of care, finish, and attention to detail.

Hosein and his team did an amazing job. The work needed to be done carefully so they did not rush and made sure everything was left tidy and clean afterwards. I have no hesitation in recommending them, you will not be disappointed!

These days it is difficult to find a reliable handyman, but Hosein and his team were committed and very hardworking. They attended everyday without fail, and completed the job on time. They are trustworthy and they work with integrity and dedication. Hosein is very good at advising where to save costs and he and his team saved my flat which was in a very poor condition. Thank you Hosein and team for all your help and for providing a good professional service.

Bristol's Handyman Team are fantastic contractors. We have worked closely and frequently with them across our 6 sites for several years. They undertake carpentry, plumbing, decorating and other general building works, always to a high standard and reasonably priced. In my experience they always do whatever they can to help achieve our (the customers) requirements within the (often tight) time frame. Very pleased with the work undertaken by the two man team on the painting of the front of my house. They were punctual on both days and were polite. Would recommend and would definitely use again for future work.
