Highly recommended. I had a small job with some faulty blinds that needed fixing. These guys were very flexible on timing as I had lots of commitments and couldn’t wait around. They turned up bang on time, fixed the issue within the hour, tidied and left. I’m already working out what else needs doing in my flat. Would definitely use them again, no question. Handyman of choice.

I can highly recommend Kensington Handyman. From their clear, easy-to-use website and friendly booking service to the excellent workmanship, the whole experience was first class. Due to an unexpected health issue, I had to rearrange my original appointment at short notice. This is often when a company’s true colours show, and Kensington Handyman could not have been more helpful or accommodating. They took ownership, provided clear communication, and rescheduled everything without any fuss. When the handyman arrived to repair my fitted wardrobe, he was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly took pride in his work. The repair was completed efficiently and to a very high standard. What impressed me most was the seamless service throughout. Good companies deliver when things go to plan; great companies adapt when circumstances change. Kensington Handyman exceeded my expectations and fully deserve a five-star rating.

Simple job for an experienced carpenter with a mitre saw to cut some skirting which I would estimate would take a professional between 1h - 1.5h. Job was clearly explained and accepted. Guy turns up, 1h30m later tells me he's finished. I then have to tell him that he hasn't cut the skirting correctly. 30m later he tells me he can't cut it correctly as he doesn't have a mitre saw, even though that's what he told me he had with him earlier. Speak to Alistair the next day after being sent the bill of 2h. Told him I wasn't happy and the guy needed to come back and finish the job correctly. Alistair agreed and said he'd message me what time he'd arrive. Late afternoon I had to chase as I had not been contacted. At this point, Alistair tells me that the guy doesn't want to come back to finish the job correctly because the skirting kept breaking when cutting (yeah, because he was using the wrong saw!). This job is just replicating what had been done elsewhere in the property so I know it's perfectly doable. He then tells me that it's not worth his while to send the guy back plus he would've wanted to charge me another £144 to come back even if he did. This is on top of the 2h that he'd already billed. To top it off, I then get a wholly sarcastic comment that I should bodge the mess that had been left with filler. Ugh! These people have no accountability, turn up with the wrong equipment, bodge the work (smearing caulk over vast amounts of skirting, even though I told the guy three times I didn't want him to do the filling) and then expect the paying customer to bodge it further with filler to cover their incompetence. Absolutely pathetic.

Excellent from start to finish. Clear communication from Tristan including upfront pricing information. We had an internal door (heavy, Victorian, not been maintained in years) come off its hinges. Kiomas was fantastic and had it fixed within the hour. It had been pulling away from the frame and the door did not close properly - and now it does, so it is better than before! Many thanks. It is great to find such a reliable service. The photos show before and after of the hinge, which had completely pulled out and splintered the doorframe.

Tristan and his team were amazing to work with! They were prompt, reliable and very knowledgeable of the work. I got them in to do a complex child’s bunkbed with slide in a very tight room and they got everything done perfectly and swiftly. They came last minute on the day and were very kind as well. 5 stars to their team, fantastic!

Great experience overall. He arrived on time and fixed my furnitures and window lock quickly and smoothly. Everything was done efficiently and without any hassle. He was also friendly and professional. I’d happily recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable handyman.
