Glasgow Handyman Solutions

Glasgow Handyman Solutions is owned by Steven Auld, a qualified plumber by trade. The company has over 30 years of experience and is fully insured. It offers a guarantee on work performed and products installed. The company serves Glasgow and Greater Glasgow. It specialises in home installations, property improvements and practical jobs around the home. Services include TV wall mounting, shelving, curtain poles and blinds, mirror hanging, furniture assembly, minor plumbing, joinery and general home maintenance.

Steven Auld started his career in domestic plumbing with JH Horn Plumbers. He worked for commercial plumbing and heating contractors including Taylor & Fraser, Clark Contracts and Castle Group Scotland. While with Taylor & Fraser, he worked on an £18 million private mansion. The company uses specialised heavy-duty fixings for secure TV wall mounting on older tenement walls. It has experience across multiple trades.

Fitting wall-mounted televisions, mirrors, curtain rails, blinds and shelving recurs throughout the feedback for this Glasgow handyman service, with several customers describing the finish as carefully levelled and neatly executed. Reviewers often mention the friendly and professional manner of Steven, also referred to as Steve, Stephen or Stevie, who is praised for arriving when expected, talking through the work beforehand and keeping in touch as the job progressed. Reliability comes up as a consistent strength: tasks are completed efficiently, and when a customer supplied the wrong television bracket, he sourced the correct one and stayed patient while the installation ran over.

Clear quotes and fair pricing are noted often, including for plumbing jobs such as connecting a dishwasher and addressing non-urgent plumbing needs. Tidiness and attention to detail are highlighted, with shelves, smoke alarms, house numbers and curtain poles all fitted to a high standard. Customers describe him as polite, easy to talk to and willing to go the extra mile, leaving rooms tidy and results that function exactly as intended, from bathroom shelving to a pulley positioned precisely where it was requested.
