Free quotes are offered, and work is guaranteed. Timbafix is an insured tradesman and accepts card payments. Dean is named in customer reviews as the person who carried out the work. Completed projects include balcony decking in Bassett, Southampton, internal doors fitted in Southampton, a kitchen fitted for the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation, and laminate flooring, skirting and decorating.

Households and commercial premises in Southampton have turned to this firm for carpentry-led improvements, and the feedback follows a consistent pattern. Customers in several reviews describe work on raised decking that had rotted or become structurally questionable, with entire sections removed and rebuilt; decking on balconies and garden gates also feature among the completed jobs. More than one review highlights Dean by name, praising both his craftsmanship and his manner, whether he was fitting internal doors, hanging a new porch door, installing mortice locks on fire doors at a dental practice or replacing carpet with hardwood flooring.

An aspect raised across a number of reviews is how he explained what needed doing and kept people informed as the work progressed, and the finish is described as neat and the site left clean afterwards. Quotes are called fair and the agreed price honoured, with punctuality and flexibility around working hours noted. Painting and pressure washing of fencing and patios, plus small extras such as clearing bulky items, round out the picture. Internal door replacement and joinery remain the tasks most frequently highlighted.
