I booked and paid for a same day handyman on an urgent job. I was told he would come before 5:30pm with a call to confirm 1 hour beforehand. At 4:30pm I called them to check where he was and was told, “Aarh it’s going to take two people so we’ll have to reschedule for another day” They did not call me, text or email to let me know this. Now I’m stuck with a door off its hinges heading into the night time

Do not be fooled. When you call up, this is actually the 'Fantastic services' group. Don't know whether they have taken over a different company that used to be good? The customer service when you're booking seems good, quick and efficient, but the person they send you is usually bog standard to very poor. Most recent experience was an electrician who seemed surprised to see a fusebox and didn't know current regulations about safe distances from water supply. He could not leave quickly enough - charged £126 for 15 mins useless non-advice then scarpered. Got in a different guy later that day who fixed the problem in an hour. Their customer complaints process is basically leave them a voicemail and they'll ignore it. Had a similar experience previously with poor cleaning from them. Go literally anywhere else.
