Your Plymouth Handyman

Your Plymouth Handyman was started in 2019 and operates as a sole handyman business. The founder and owner is Tom, who previously worked as a BT Systems Support Manager. The business specialises in odd jobs for homes and businesses, from small tasks to larger projects. Services include general handyman jobs, garden and outdoors, flooring, doors and windows, kitchen, bathroom and plumbing, and building.

Flat-pack assembly, gate fitting, shelving, tiling and general household repairs make up the work carried out by Your Plymouth Handyman around Plymouth. The standard of the finished result is a point that comes up often, with shelving reported as level and secure, a replacement gate described as sturdy, treated and good looking, and kitchen tiling and grouting finished to a high standard. Punctuality and reliability recur across accounts, in which the handyman arrived when expected and worked steadily through long lists of jobs, at times completing several tasks in a single day.

Reviewers frequently point to clear communication before and after the work, along with pricing they consider fair. Tidiness is noted too, and the friendly manner of Tom, named in numerous accounts and described as chatty and polite with tenants and homeowners alike, features in several. Landlords recall work on rental properties, including fitting a blind in a tenant's bedroom, while other customers remember curtain poles, a television unit and repairs that made a new house feel like home. Problems are handled without fuss, as when a gate was measured and installed while the customer was at work.
